General overview "Grade" menu
1. Examinations menu:
You can enter grades both at the ‘Examinations’ level and at the ‘Student’ level.
2. ‘Pending’ menu:
‘Pending’ These are grades which have been entered but have not yet been submitted to the student back office.
‘Final grades’ These grades have been submitted. They no longer require any action on your part.

3. ‘Search’ menu:
Search the ‘Examinations’ menu or the ‘Students’ menu.
- Select a group of students (you can create groups yourself).
- This allows you to make a particular selection your default selection.
- Enter the data that should be included in the filter. You can select more than one option.
- After entering all the data to be included in your search filter, press the ‘Search’ button.
4. ‘Courses’ menu:
Perform a search in the ‘Examinations’ menu.
- This is where you indicate which sorting method to use. The various menus present several options.
- The status of grades which have yet to be entered or are still pending.
- Several types of reports can be produced here.

The status bar provides a visual of how many students have been given a grade.
None (12), Pending (0) or finalised(22)
Processing grades
Grades can be processed in several different ways. You can do so in individual rows in the Lecturers' module.
However, you can also export a group of students to Excel. You then enter the grades in Excel and upload this list to Osiris, thus ensuring that the grades are imported into Osiris.
