How do I process an assessment form?
Assessment forms are filled in to help assess tests and they are processed in the same screen that is used process grades. First, look up the test for which you want to fill in the assessment forms and click 'Enter assessment form'.
Filling in the assessment form
After that, the assessment form for a particular student opens in a new screen. Please look below for an explanation on how to fill in the assessment form.
Please note that the way the assessment form looks depends on the way it is built in the backoffice. This is just a general example and some sections in the assessment form you are filling in might be unavailable or look different.
- This is were the condition(s) the student needs to meet are displayed. If the student has met the condition(s) you can tick the box. If the student has not met the conditions the rest of the test cannot be assessed.
- Here you fill in the grade for this section. You have the option to choose between the grades available in the grading scale.
- Here you can fill in an explanation on the grade for this section.
- This is where you fill in the final grade. In some cases, this is calculated automatically, but this only works for numerical grades.
- The test date.
- Here you can fill in an explanation on the final grade.
- The examiner. This will be filled in automatically with your own name.
Saving the assessment form
After you have filled in the form it needs to be saved. There are two options for this; 'save as draft' and 'save as draft grade'.
- Save as draft: Saves the assessment form without saving a grade. You can still make changes to the form and it is possible to save a form that has not been filled in completely.
- Save as draft grade: Saves the assessment form and a concept grade. It is also still possible to make changes to the form. After you have done this the grade can be signed and made final.
Important! Do not use 'save as draft grade' if a second examiner also has to fill in the form. It is still possible for you to make changes to the form, but the second examiner won't be able to make any changes and additions.
After the form has been filled in and saved as a draft grade, the grade has to be signed to make it final:
